Worcester Paranormal did several interesting cases this past summer and we wanted to share some of the results we got up on our web page for review. The following EVPs come from a home in the Worcester area. Some of the case information has been changed to maintain the privacy of the client.
The general complaint of the case was that a child in the house was seeing the apparition of a "soldier" in the house. The reported apparition was seen primarily in the upstairs bathroom as well as shadows of a man were seen on the wall in her bedroom. It was also noted that another family member stated she heard a whispering voice that she thought was coming from the TV and felt cold spots at the top of the stairs. The family was in the process of moving to a new town and we were able to go in and record after they moved.
Background research into previous owners did not did not show a name that matched the name the child believed she heard. We also checked with the Veterans Agent for the town and were unable to find any soldier by that name who matched the information she gave us. We did, however, as you will see below, get an EVP that matched the name she gave us on the initial visit to the house: "Kevin".
We were able to sucessfully debunk the shadow of a man on the wall the child believed she saw with photo and video evidence to show that it was just shadows created by lighting. EMF readings did show some high areas of EMF in a few parts of the house which could have contributed to an intermittent feeling of "heaviness" in the house. A draft from the skylight in the bathroom could have caused the cold spots. And so..we were quite honestly surprised to find the EVPs we got on review and wanted to share them. None of the following EVPs have been enhanced.
The first of the following EVPs that you will find in the video link were obtained upstairs by Abby Johnson of Worcester Paranormal. She noticed that the ceiling lights were flickering on the ceiling fan light as she attempted to pull the cord. You will hear the EVP at: 0.18 "Who turned them lights out"
The second set of EVPs from this house were obtained by Kathy Caslin on an Olympus DS 40 audio recorder with an added dynamic mic running in the upstairs bathroom. What you are hearing in the background is set up going on in one of the upstairs bedrooms. You will hear the EVPs at: 1.00 "Sarah" And at 1.27 "Kevin is"
